The winter in Pamporovo is long but mild and the influence of the Mediterranean climate is greatly felt here. There is snow for about 120 to 170 days a year.

The snow can heap up to 1-1.5 meters at the locations where the level above the sea reaches 1000 meters.  And there is normally ½ inch of fresh powder most evenings.

The average temperature in the winter in Pamporovo is about -5 °C and the resort in well known for its more than average amount of sunny days.
